Alligator is a powerful, high-prey male who reflects generations of strong, athletic, great gipping dogs behind him. He is out of Malinois parents and lineage.

In obedience, he works willingly with nice expression and engagement. He is clear-headed and biddable. On the track, he displays calm, methodical work with a slower pace that has resulted in Excellent and Very Good scores over his past 3 championships.

HIs real-world work includes police tracking, search and rescue, article recovery, and protection duties. He has been cross-trained on the bitesuit for this work.
A news article about him can be found here: https://policie.gov.cz/clanek/krajske-reditelstvi-policie-lbk-zpravodajstvi-zhari-hrozi-rok-vezeni.aspx?fbclid=IwY2xjawLPrsVleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHlBvMCQA4miTGb71DfWVKIJc-I9W8WOxtGV75H9w8wol5uuXRRArYJb_7080_aem_CwcOpaioIg2c9IpgnQvwaQ

In protection, he brings exceptional grip quality, intensity, and commitment. His handler has told me that Alligator is the best protection dog he has owned thus far. He enjoys the fight with the helper, carries himself with confidence, and demonstrates a dominant, assertive presence in the work.

Outside of work, Alligator is a remarkably social and affectionate dog. He is friendly with people, trustworthy around his handler’s family, and lives peacefully alongside 5 other dogs.
He is clean, quiet, and uncomplicated in both the house and kennel.
He’s respectful of correction and stable under pressure, combining serious working ability with an easygoing temperment.

I had the opportunity to meet Alligator in person when I traveled to the Czech Republic, and spent a few days alongside him. I absolutely love this dog.

Dam:
“Korra”
Besai Bonheur D’Legend of Korra
BH, BT-X, IGP 2
Hips: OFA Excellent
PennHip:
R: .29
L: Couldn’t be eval’d due to gas bubbles :(
Elbows: OFA Normal
Thyroid: OFA Normal
Eyes: OFA Normal
Spine CT: Clear
Embark Panel: Clear

Korra is a bubbly, high-drive female with a huge heart for anything she puts her mind to. She has high toy and food drive, a really nice nose on her, and medium-high prey drive. Cute as a dang button, one of my favorite traits about her is her sense of humor in everyday life.

One of Korra's defining traits is her resilience. She recovers quickly from pressure, accepts fair correction without loss of engagement, and returns immediately to work with confidence and clarity. Naturally an independent thinker and worker, she brings a strong willingness to be right when given clear structure. She is highly perceptive of subtle handler cues and emotions, showing strong awareness and adaptability.

In obedience, she is a flashy, high-twitch dog who can work with both toy and food rewards. She’s had a natural inclination for tracking since she was a puppy, showing high hunt drive and desire to work. She’s always been more of an independent dog; the strengths that come with this personality type have shown in Korra’s working style, she’s not the type to look to me for reassurance as a default.

In protection, Korra brings fast-twitch athleticism, grit, and commitment. While she retains strong prey characteristics, her work is driven more by active aggression than by prey alone. She demonstrates the confidence to stay engaged through conflict and pressure, while remaining thoughtful and functional in both her guarding and biting.

Outside of work, she is easy to live with. She’s quiet in the car, clean in the crate, has never been destructive, and is not a nuisance barker. She is a dog who is ready to spring into action - and I love this about her. However, it did require teaching her an off-switch. Socially, she is appropriately aloof with strangers but deeply affectionate to those she knows.

Both dogs are clear in the work with zero handler aggression.

An extreme amount of thought and consideration has gone into this paring. It is my hope to double up on: strong hunt drive and tracking focus, motivation in obedience, high toy and food drives, and over-the-top affection towards immediate friends and family. What I liked about Alligator is that he doesn’t bring an abundance of ‘twitch’, which Korra already has. I hope to add more prey drive, and I am intentionally selecting from a line that brings social confidence with unfamiliar people, providing a complementary balance to the more reserved temperament traditionally seen in the dam line.

I am expecting this breeding to produce stable dogs with strong character. Dogs who are balanced, and exist as normal companions at home.
I expect from owners that they are willing to dedicate the appropriate amount of time to training and socialization outings.

This litter would be appropriate for any avenue that works both mind and body - as examples:
-Bitesports

-Agility

-Nose work (tracking, detection, SAR)

-AKC Obedience/Rally

They are not suitable for weekend warriors or when you feel like its.

Puppies will be evaluated for temperment and working ability prior to placement, and will come with AKC registration.
